This position is full-time
and located at the headquarters in Irvine, California.
The following provides
information about Parker Aerospace and requirements and qualifications of
this position:
Parker Aerospace is an
industry leader in the design, manufacture, and service of hydraulic and
pneumatic
components, systems, and
related electronic controls for aerospace and other high-technology markets
with $1.4 billion in sales. This Graduate Associate – Engineer will
work in our Central Engineering deppartment.
The successful candidate will
learn to apply state-of-the-art engineering techniques to design, analyze,
simulate, and test Parker motion and fluid control components and systems.
Qualifications
·BS or MS in Mechanical
Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with emphasis on control theory,
mathematical modeling of fluid/thermal systems and/or stress analyses.
·Proficient in Microsoft
Office and other PC software.
·Strong verbal and written
communication.
·Strong background in
fundamental aspects of mechanics, fluid flow, thermodynamics, heat transfer,
electromagmetics or dynamics.
·Familiar with
computer-aided engineering such as; CAD (Pro/E, CATIA or SolidWorks), finite
element analysis (ANSYS, Cosmos/M or LS-DYNA) and/or software simulation
tools (Matlab/Simulink, AMESIM or Easy 5).
·Required 3.0 GPA and must
be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident status required
Responsibilities
·Troubleshoot data
acquisition consoles and software under the guidance of senior engineers
·Perform embedded software
programming and verification testing
·Perform design or analysis
tasks under the guidance of senior engineers
